- Peel and core apples, then cut into thick fry-shaped sticks. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and mix panko breadcrumbs with cinnamon and salt in a third bowl.
- Dredge apple sticks in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with the panko mixture.
- Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Fry apple fries in batches, turning until golden and crisp, about 2–3 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar, swirling occasionally until it turns a deep amber color.
- Immediately add butter and stir until melted. Carefully pour in heavy cream while whisking constantly until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in sea salt. Let cool slightly before serving.
- Arrange apple fries on a large platter or wooden board with a bowl of warm salted caramel sauce in the center.
- Scatter mini marshmallows, chopped pecans, chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, and fresh berries around the fries. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
